NEXA

A New Era of Healthcare.

The Vision Behind NEXA

One brand. A growing family of predictive medical wearables.

NEXA Wearables isn't built around a single device. We're building a platform, technology that continuously listens to the body's signals and learns to recognize the patterns that come before a critical health event, so people get meaningful warning instead of an after-the-fact diagnosis. NEXA EEG Glasses is where that platform starts, not where it ends.

A moment gives you a measurement

Healthcare has traditionally relied heavily on measurements taken at individual moments: during an appointment, examination, or clinical event. Wearable technology creates the opportunity to observe physiological signals continuously and understand how they change over time. NEXA is being developed around that principle. The value of continuous monitoring is not more data. It is that changes, relationships and patterns become visible across time, and better context may allow earlier, more informed action.

  • Understand

Continuous signal capture built for daily life, worn at home, at work, or at school, not just in a clinic.

  • Predict

AI models trained to recognize the patterns that tend to appear before a critical event, not only report it afterward.

  • Protect

Real-time alerts that keep patients and the people who care for them connected exactly when it matters.

Continuous signalStructured understanding

The Core Challenge

Why proactive care matters

Healthcare is still largely reactive rather than proactive. The body often gives signals before a critical event, but without continuous insight, those signals are understood too late.

  • Care often responds after a critical event, rather than identifying risk earlier.

  • Patients and families live with uncertainty, never knowing when health can change without warning.

  • A single unpredictable event can affect safety, independence, work, study, and everyday life.

The opportunity: a continuous, everyday wearable that turns early signals into time to act.

This is the challenge NEXA Wearables was founded to solve.

Smarter Technology, Early Insights

Three layers, one purpose: understanding.

Raw physiological data means little on its own. The NEXA stack exists to turn it into something people can use: sensing captures the signal, signal intelligence cleans it, and machine learning finds the patterns within it.

  • Layer 01

    Sensing

NEXA begins with physiological signals. EEG, short for electroencephalography, measures the electrical activity produced by the brain. In the NEXA EEG Glasses, six dry electrodes aligned with standard EEG placement capture that activity through everyday eyewear.

    • Standard EEG placement
    • No gel, no preparation
  • Layer 02

    Signal Intelligence

Physiological signals contain noise, variation, and large amounts of time series data. Raw EEG carries neural activity mixed with movement artifacts, environmental noise, electrode noise and natural variation between people. Real time artifact removal and signal processing separate the brain from the noise, as the data is captured.

    • Real time artifact removal
    • Noise and movement rejection
    • Continuous time series
  • Layer 03

    Artificial Intelligence

A low power neuromorphic processor runs analysis on the device itself, mimicking how the brain processes signals. Approaches explored include spiking neural networks, built for exactly this kind of temporal data. Models learn your individual patterns and identify changes that isolated measurements would miss.

Where Technology Meets Health

From raw signal to meaningful information

  1. EEG signal

Electrical activity captured continuously at the electrodes

  2. Signal processing

Artifacts and noise removed in real time

  3. Pattern analysis

Meaningful characteristics extracted from the cleaned signal

  4. Artificial Intelligence

Temporal patterns examined against what the model has learned

  5. Meaningful information

Clear, reviewable insight for the people who need it

Connect the Signals

One data point tells you what was happening then. A sequence tells you how something is changing.

Continuous observation lets the system understand your baseline, notice deviations from it, and examine events in the context of what came before. That context is what a single measurement can never provide.

One momentA pattern across time

Responsible Intelligence

Analysis happens on the edge.
Privacy is built into the architecture.

Because the neuromorphic processor analyzes signals on the device itself, continuous brain data does not need to stream to distant servers to become useful. Processing at the edge is not only efficient. It is a privacy decision.

Neurological information is among the most sensitive data a person can share. NEXA is being built on the principle that health data requires transparency, control and secure handling, and that it is never treated simply as a commercial asset.

AI does not replace clinicians.

A person looking at millions of individual EEG values over weeks cannot manually interpret every relationship within them. Machine learning allows computational models to learn those relationships across large volumes of physiological time series data.

As the system analyzes changes across time, it can identify recurring characteristics, deviations, and combinations of signals that may warrant further interpretation.

Its role is to help transform complex continuous data into information that may be easier to interpret and investigate.

The NEXA EEG Glasses, a matte black frame with sensor modules built into the temples.
  • Designed for daily life, not a hospital visit or a lab session.
  • Built to flag rising seizure risk ahead of time, instead of only logging what already happened.
  • Real-time alerts reach the people who can respond, right when they’re needed.
  • Protected innovation developed with Sultan Qaboos University and Oman’s Ministry of Health.
  • NEXA EEG Glasses are still under development. Design, features, and performance will continue to evolve through clinical validation - this page reflects our current direction, not a final product.

How It Helps

From a quiet signal to time to act

The value of NEXA EEG Glasses isn’t the hardware, it’s the extra time it can give someone before a seizure happens.

  • Capture

Sensors continuously read brain activity throughout the day, without disrupting it.

  • Understand

AI models look for the patterns that tend to appear before a seizure.

  • Warn

A real-time alert reaches the patient and their caregiver.

  • Act

Early warning means time to get to safety, or simply to prepare.

Healthcare technology built on continuous measurement.

NEXA is a healthcare technology brand from Onsor in Oman. It was created around a simple observation: your body is continuously generating information, while healthcare often sees only individual moments. Wearable sensing is changing that. NEXA occupies the space between traditional medical technology and everyday wearables: clinical credibility, intelligent technology and everyday wearability in one platform. It is not a fitness tracker, not a gadget and not a replacement for clinicians. Our work combines physiological sensing, intelligent algorithms, human centered product design and clinical validation to explore how health information can be understood continuously. NEXA EEG Glasses represent the first application of this approach: several years of development focused on epilepsy, now being validated with patients across three hospital sites.

Why NEXA

What makes NEXA different?

  • Technology we built ourselves

The sensing, the on device brain inspired processing and the models are ours, protected by a registered patent.

  • It improves with every seizure it sees

Each seizure captured in the study teaches the models something new. The system that reaches patients will have learned from every one that came before.

  • Held to medical standards

This is being built as a medical device, not a consumer gadget: ISO 13485 quality management, ISO 14971 risk management and formal design controls.

  • Epilepsy is the first, not the only

The same electrodes, processing and analysis can serve other neurological conditions as validation progresses. Epilepsy is where the work starts.

  • Proven with patients, not in a lab

NEXA is being tested inside three hospitals with real epileptic patients, measured against the standard hospital EEG equipment it sits alongside. Those same clinical relationships are how the first product will reach the people who need it.

Our Foundations

Four principles guide the work.

Our symbol interweaves four hearts, a brain, the human form and a DNA like intersection: one heart for each of these principles, at the meeting point of biology, intelligence, healthcare and technology.

  • Human

People are at the heart of everything we do.

Every product, decision, and innovation is created with one purpose which to improve lives by making healthcare more personal, accessible, and proactive.

  • Care

    Hope Amber

    Healthcare begins with compassion.

The heart symbolizes our commitment to supporting patients, caregivers, clinicians, and families with technology that empowers rather than overwhelms. Always putting people first.
